Katherine is learning basic addition right now, and she’ll often come home with simple story problems in her head (You have two apples and one orange. How many pieces of fruit do you have?).
Last night, we were waiting for mom and Myron, and we quizzed each other. At first it was simple math, but I decided to throw a couple curve balls at Katherine by asking her to add three or four numbers together (she got most of them).
And then she threw this one at me:
You have too many cars and your brother has zero cars. How many cars are there?
She still thinks I got the answer wrong.
